Many shy away from bleeding their brakes on a regular basis. Now you don't have to. Keep your brake system in top working order with this technological advancement.
I cannot over emphasize how easy this will make this normally unpleasant job.
We stock kits for MGA/B/C and others please ask.
Great for hydraulic clutch systems too. Use on motorcycles or any application where bleeding hydraulics is a part of routine maintenance.
To determine the size you need, tell us what wrench size your existing bleeder is. Check all four as different sizes are often found on front and back of the vehicle.
Installation of Speed Bleeder®
Once you get your Speed Bleeder®, it is very simple to install:
- Simply clean the area around the old bleeder screw so that no dirt or contaminants can get into the brake system.
- Remove the old bleeder screw and discard.
- Screw in the Speed Bleeder® into the wheel cylinder or caliper until it seats.

Unscrew the Speed Bleeder® 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
Here comes the magical part. Slowly pump the brake pedal approximately 4-5 times. (You do not have to close the bleeder screw between pumps.) A one way check valve lets the air and fluid out when the pedal is pressed and closes between pumps preventing new air from reentering the system between pumps.
After bubble-free fluid comes out of the Speed Bleeder® screw, close the Speed Bleeder® until it seats.
Proceed to the next wheel cylinder or caliper until all are bled.
That's all there is to bleeding brakes with the Speed Bleeder
At a price you can afford
At $6.50 each, we can provide a bleeder system that will last a long time. We save you time, money, and a lot of aggravation. There are over 15 different sizes of SPEED BLEEDER® to provide you with a comprehensive selection for automobiles and motorcycles and any vehicle with hydraulic brakes. Speed Bleeders are packaged either in singles or doubles depending on your application.
Stainless Steel speed Bleeders are available. These are made of 303 stainless steel and are CNC machined. They are tougher than the OEM style Speed Bleeders, will never corrode, and are hand polished to a chrome-like brilliance. You will be satisfied with this selection. They are priced at $15.00 each and come packaged either in singles or doubles depending on your application. Dust caps are included with your purchase.
Features of SPEED BLEEDER®
Stainless steel spring
Stainless steel ball
Brass retainer
The threads are roll formed. This process results in a stronger and smoother thread than one that is cut.
The chamber for the ball and spring is precision reamed and the seat for the stainless steel ball is machined to exacting tolerances.
Zinc chromate plating withstands a 30 hour salt spray. Other plating with higher salt spray results is also available.
Patented thread sealing system seals the threads when the bleeding operation is performed, preventing air from being sucked back into the system.
The pre-applied thread sealant also displaces air and moisture during thread engagement preventing rust...which usually results in rounded off corners on the hex or busted off bleeder screws making it necessary to replace the caliper or brake cylinder. The application of thread sealant thus makes it easy to loosen or remove the bleeder screw at any time.
